It’s Monday morning! I pray that you have all had a WONDERFUL Weekend!
There’s so much to be said for the hard times we see our close friends and family go through… and sometimes they look to us for encouragement and advice, but what if we don’t have it at that very second? Or what if we do have it but, it isn’t enough?
I’m the type of person who needs to process before I speak. I imagine that this can be annoying to my extroverted loved ones who wish for an immediate response, but it’s not who I am. Writing helps me sort through all the information and accurately articulate what I need to get across. So bear with me as I tell you all about someone awesome and talk to them at the same time…
I have a friend who doesn’t even recognize the strength that God has placed inside of her. No matter how much unfavorable news, no matter how many “no’s,” no matter how many “I don’t knows,” she is still thriving. She feels like it’s too much, and sometimes she feels weak, but all I see is strength… She’s one of the strongest women I know… but because it’s her situation and it’s her journey to walk, I will never know how she really feels… Although if you’re reading this, I just want you to know that I am in awe of you strength, of your optimism, of your Faith that things will get better. Just know that I will be here to encourage you, to keep your head up, to pray for you, to pray with you… and if you need anything that is in my power to do, I am only a phone call away…
I say that to say this… we don’t truly know what others see in us. What we may classify as weakness others may see as strength. What we think is ugly others may view as beautiful. If you leave with nothing else from this, take this with you… today is a new day and you are alive to see it. So many times we mentally pour over what needs to be done, what should have been done, but I urge you to live in the moment. Planning is great, but since we can’t control tomorrow there is only so much we can do alone… I love you all and pray that you all have a wonderful day, week, month ☺, I leave you with this…
Matthew 6:34 NLT
“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”
Thanks again, God bless and One love.
