It’s a beautiful fall Friday afternoon and I pray that you all had a great week!
This week was pretty cool, I spent a lot of time reading, learning guitar chords and being enlightened. I also had the opportunity to teach the youth…We were speaking about how we offer things to people and whether we give things out of obligation or if it’s from the heart. The funny thing about teaching, impromptu or not, is that it forces you to examine yourself.
Not only whether you give things from the heart, but how much of your heart you pour into your decisions on a daily. Are you praying, loving, guiding, with everything in you. And how honest are you being with yourself about what you’re doing?
When God looks at what we give Him, it’s not about what we’re giving but how we’re giving it. Are we giving begrudgingly? Are we giving our best? Or is it simply our leftovers? Ask yourself… Anyway, I love you all and I pray that you all have a wonderful weekend! Happy Friday and I leave you with this…
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
1 Samuel 16:7 NLT
Thanks again, God bless and One love.
