What about your…Support

Hey Fam,

It’s Monday afternoon and I know, I know, it’s been a week! I would apologize but I promise when you see what we’ve been working on you’ll be pleased(I hope). Enough about me though! How have you been? I pray that all is well and that you’ve had a great last week.

So the week before last, I’m in the car with my Sanager and we’re on our way back from Nashville. We’re around the corner from a new day and we start talking about my poetry book. (Which is in the works if you didn’t know.) In a few weeks I’ll pen the last few words and then we’ll move forward with editing and publishing. Well, the last part of the book I have to finish is the acknowledgements… the hardest part.
Before, when I read other people’s book, I read the acknowledgements with a sense of detachment. Usually just skimming to see who the author thanked. Now, being faced with writing them myself, I have a new found respect for the process. If you didn’t know, acknowledgements are emotional! Writing them gives you time to reflect on all the people who supported, encouraged, and never gave up on you. It’s like the biggest written thank you ever! LOL
Anyway, thinking about that made me think about how much writing this blog and posting my feelings and what I hope to be some type of encouragement to you meant in that process. It was huge! Sometimes I failed in not posting twice a week, but I refuse to not post at least once a week. Knowing that (most of) you look forward to reading what I have been given to share encourages me to push forward. Even when my mind is all over the place, knowing that I’ll carve out a few hours to write to you fills me with a sense of focus. So on top of everyone else I say thank you to, please know that you are on that list too!
This week marks 9 months since the start of this blog and last month we reached over 1,000 viewers. When I first started out, I dedicated every post around the 23rd to simply say thank you and I stopped. Not because I’m not grateful, but because I didn’t want to sound redundant! =)
Just know that, even when I’m not posting, I’m viewing every moment as a teachable one. Searching every situation for a revelation in an attempt to provide illumination… and hope… so I may share that with you all.
Anyways, just know that I truly love you all, and I pray you all have a great Monday. I leave you with this…

1 Thessalonians 5:11 NLT

So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.

Thanks again, God bless and One love.
