It’s a beautiful Thursday afternoon. I pray that you all are enjoying your day, and that you’ve had a lovely week thus far!
The last few weeks have been semi-revealing. In the course of the preparation and study I did for the last poem I was working on, I really began to look at life differently… at the world differently. Writing “Magnificent” allowed me to develop a wonder in the world that didn’t previously exist. These days I find myself fascinated by the tiniest of things. The different hues of the sky, the entrance of the moon, the wings of birds, the simple gesture of hand holding… the texture of tangible items lol…
The world is such a beautiful place, but it is distorted by the ugliness of perception… of indifference… of your reality. Gaining this new found, child like curiosity in an effort to perpetuate the growth of my writing has allowed me to just… see that there is beauty in nearly EVERYTHING we come across. It is up to us to take the time to acknowledge that beauty. To appreciate it…
God is funny in that way! When we seek understand it’s sort of like a motion picture. We can only see the frames that we have previously seen, but then we’re granted access and the tightened lens loosens up and we can see more of the picture. From this, understanding follows, then perspective changes… and so does your life.
If you do nothing else today, I ask of you this. Take time to notice something that you would usually overlook and just appreciate the simplistic beauty of it… I pray you all have a blessed weekend. I love you all and I leave you with this…
Ecclesiastes 3:9-13 NLT
What do people really get for all their hard work? 10 I have seen the burden God has placed on us all. 11 Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end. 12 So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can. 13 And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God.
Thanks again, God bless and One love.
