It’s Monday again and I am in a VERY good mood today =). This weekend was beyond incredible and I couldn’t be happier with the progress my team and I are achieving. I pray that you all had wonderful weekends.
A while back we talked about life and seeking to find purpose. Sooo… activity time! Take a second and put you hand on your heart. You feel the quiet thumping of your organ in your chest? That right there is purpose in itself.
We have a responsibility, not only to ourselves but to the world to walk in our purpose. Here’s the thing about that though… Sometimes we have trouble finding what our purpose is. And I am by no means a professional, so you can choose to not take this opinion seriously, but we know what talents we already possess. Often times our purpose extends directly from the talents we have, and it is our job to manifest those talents and multiply them into something greater. Will we sometimes need help in refining those skills? Absolutely! But there is no excuse for not trying in the first place.
For those of us who are scared because we have already tried… Just because we fall short doesn’t mean we quit! The best thing about failing is that, now you know one more thing NOT to do! And that right there is the silver lining… I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to look back on my life one day and say, I wish I would have lived… because believe it or not there’s a difference between living and existing.
Ultimately it’s up to us to:
1. Discover our talents
2. Use those talents to discover our purpose
3. Be relentless in our efforts to build up God’s kingdom through said purpose, and
4. Not grow weary when it gets tough. No one said it would be easy… but they also didn’t say it would be impossible (and if they did… they were wrong!)
Anyway, I love you all and I pray you all have a great week! I leave you with this…
Psalm 73:26 NLT
My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever.
Thanks again, God bless and One love.
