I’ve often said that I would never look back.
Even when my lungs ache and my chest burns and my legs feel like they’re going to fall off from the constant motion.
When the road becomes unfamiliar and distance becomes irrelevant
My next steps hesitant.
You’ll know when you get there.
Yet I don’t even know where here is
Everything’s different but about four years from interesting
No time to evaluate the feelings fluttering through my system
Seriously, I just need one second to catch my breath
Every step one step closer to two puffs from my inhaler with no spacer.
Every third step an eraser of previous plans to just take two more steps before I end, but on faith I…
Good evening, I pray that everyone’s having a great day!
Real quick! Have you ever done the exercise where you stand on your tiptoes and reach as far as you can into the air. Then you’re told to reach a little further and often times you do, but if the first time was the furthest then how’d you reach a little further than furthest?
The point is… when we think we are giving our all, we can push harder and give something better. It’s all about willing ourselves to do it. Pushing ourselves to be better, and going in the direction we’re supposed to go, not in the direction we just came from. What is the point of a journey if we only walk in circles?
Sometimes when I’m given something to write, I don’t necessarily want to tackle the subject, so instead of getting the words out I spend days not writing because I can’t think of anything other than what I was supposed to write. It’s a really backwards system to want to write but don’t write. It makes zero sense. Like spending days running mentally in circles when all I want is a water break.
So don’t be like me lol. When you’re given a task… just do it… it’ll make life a LOT easier! Even when it seems too hard, give yourself that extra reach and you’ll be able to grasp whatever you need to. Otherwise you’ll waist time running in those meaningless circles.
I love you all and I pray you all have a wonderful weekend and I leave you with this…
Luke 6:49 NLT
49 But anyone who hears and doesn’t obey is like a person who builds a house without a foundation. When the floods sweep down against that house, it will collapse into a heap of ruins.”
Thanks again, God bless and One love.

P.S. In the end I wrote it anyway lol and someone tell Jordyn to stop twisting my words and semi-harassing me haha. Okay. Bye!
