When the Music Changes

Hey Fam!

It’s almost the weekend!!! I’m extremely excited because I’m going home tonight and that’s awesome!!! I get to see fam and old friends. And Sunflower who has designated herself as the person who picks me up from the airport. I heart you! While I’m gone, I promise not to slack on my blogging duties lol I love writing to you all as much as you love reading. It’s truly my pleasure! Anyway, the reason we’re here…

So in preparation for my trip I wanted to update my iPod! The problem is, I can’t sit through 90% of the music without feeling like throwing up. I very rarely use my iPod, so it was last updated about a year ago… some of the music I used to listen to, I would not EVER be caught listening to today!

I remember sitting in either Sunday service or bible study and listening to my Pastor preach/teach about being careful about what we listened to, because what we hear becomes what we confess. I sat there half listening with my spirit rebelling like, “yeah, okay!” Although I now understand exactly what he was saying. What I’m saying is…
We have to be careful about what we’re listening to, about what we’re allowing to enter our bodies. I never understood how much I changed until I realized that the things I use to do, I can no longer do. It’s just not a part of who I am anymore. I’m sure there are a few things that you used to do that you’d never do again! lol

Anyway, I love you all and I pray that you all have a wonderful weekend. And although I’ve quoted this before, I leave you with this…

1 Timothy 4:16 NLT

Keep a close watch on how you live and on your teaching. Stay true to what is right for the sake of your own salvation and the salvation of those who hear you.

Thanks again, God bless and One love.

With that being said… Jordyn here’s your public apology for ignoring you. It was childish, immature, and rude… I instantly regretted it =( sooo, let’s just move forward =) okay? And Ryan, it was a pleasure yesterday =)
