As usual, I pray your weekend went well! This weekend I got to experience a photoSLAM! #BAM For the first time and I absolutely loved the eccentric atmosphere. It was great!
So we’ve talked before about how important it is to have people around you that will keep you uplifted. So yesterday I was thinking about my starting 5 lol, comparing my “team” to a sports team, so to speak. And then I thought about the roll of a sixth man…
The roll of the sixth man is to provide relief to someone in the starting 5 should they need a break. If for whatever reason someone I consider an essential part of my team is no longer able to be there, that person would come in without disrupting the flow. Thus making that person just as important, if not more important than the original 5.
Now, of course I would never be able to compile an essential lost so short or so easily remove someone lol. I have a multitude of people I depend on for various things. Some who’s roles have changed over the last few months. Some roles decreasing and others increasing greatly. All I know is, everything is working for the good. I can do nothing but thank God for the people and opportunities he’s allowed in my life. If I talked about those people, you would be reading all day or kindly close the email or webpage haha. Just wait on the book lol, but back on task!
Are the key players in your life changing?
Or are they consistent?
Are you holding on to individuals that need to be let go?
Or do you recognize that for some of them, it is your responsibility to pour into them?
Do you understand the difference?
All I know is that it is important to watch the company you keep. I love you all and I leave you with this…
Proverbs 19:20-21 NLT
20 Get all the advice and instruction you can, so you will be wise the rest of your life.
21 You can make many plans,
but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.
Thanks again, God bless and One love.
